Boo Casino Payment Methods
Nine ways to move money in and out, all in euro, all fee-free from the casino's side. Here is what each one actually costs you in time, and the one card type Ireland no longer lets you use.
The short answer
Boo Casino takes Visa Debit, Mastercard Debit, Revolut, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Skrill, Neteller, paysafecard and SEPA bank transfer, all in euro, with a €10 minimum and no charge from the casino. Deposits land instantly on everything except bank transfer. Withdrawals go back to the method you paid in with — e-wallets and Revolut in a few hours, cards in one to three working days, SEPA in two to five. Credit cards are refused: Irish law took them off the table in 2024.
Payments are where most casino accounts go wrong, and almost never for exciting reasons. A card gets declined because it is a credit card. A withdrawal sits for two days because nobody uploaded a utility bill. A bank transfer takes a week because it was sent on a Friday afternoon.
This page lists every method Boo Casino supports for players in Ireland, with the limits and timings as they stand in September 2026. Nothing here is rounded up to make a rail look faster than it is — the card figures in particular assume your bank is one of the slower ones, because plenty of them are.
If you only care about how quickly money comes back, the withdrawal times page breaks that down rail by rail.
Every Boo Casino payment method compared
Deposit minimums are the same across the board. Withdrawal speeds start counting from the moment the payout is approved, not from the moment you click the button.
| Method | Deposit | Min / Max | Withdrawal | Fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Revolut (card or Pay) | Instant | €10 / €5,000 | 2–12 hours | None |
| Visa Debit | Instant | €10 / €5,000 | 1–3 working days | None |
| Mastercard Debit | Instant | €10 / €5,000 | 1–3 working days | None |
| Apple Pay | Instant | €10 / €2,500 | Not supported | None |
| Google Pay | Instant | €10 / €2,500 | Not supported | None |
| Skrill | Instant | €10 / €10,000 | 2–12 hours | None |
| Neteller | Instant | €10 / €10,000 | 2–12 hours | None |
| paysafecard | Instant | €10 / €1,000 | Not supported | None |
| SEPA bank transfer | 1–2 working days | €20 / €25,000 | 2–5 working days | None |

Maximums are per transaction. Higher limits are available on request once an account has a settled history and completed verification.
Debit cards
Visa Debit and Mastercard Debit are still the default in Ireland, and they work exactly as you would expect: type the card in once, the deposit clears in seconds, and the card is stored for next time. Cards issued by AIB, Bank of Ireland, Permanent TSB, Revolut and N26 all go through without any special handling.
The catch is on the way out. A card refund is not a payment — it is a reversal pushed back down the Visa or Mastercard rails, and how fast it appears depends almost entirely on your issuer rather than on the casino. Revolut and N26 tend to surface it the same day. The pillar banks are slower, and two to three working days is normal.
Worth knowing
- Card must be in the account holder's own name — no joint or family cards.
- Withdrawals go back to the card that funded the balance, up to the amount deposited.
- 3-D Secure will fire on the first deposit and occasionally after that.
Watch out for
- Expired stored cards silently fail — re-add the card rather than retrying.
- A replacement card breaks the closed loop; support will route the payout to your bank instead.
- Some banks flag the first gambling merchant on a new card. One phone call clears it.
Revolut, Apple Pay and Google Pay
Revolut is the method most Irish players end up on, and for good reason: the deposit is instant, the notification arrives before the page has finished reloading, and payouts come back faster than to a pillar-bank card because Revolut posts the credit as soon as it is authorised rather than waiting for settlement. Two to twelve hours is the honest range.
Apple Pay and Google Pay are deposit-only. They are wrappers around a card you already hold, so the money goes out through the tokenised card and comes back through the underlying one. If you deposited with Apple Pay, the withdrawal is processed to the physical card behind it — that is not the casino being awkward, it is how the token works.
One thing to check in the Revolut app: Security → Gambling block. If it is switched on, every deposit will be declined by Revolut before it ever reaches the casino, and there is a mandatory cooling-off period after you turn it off. Nothing on the casino's side can override it, which is exactly the point of the feature.
E-wallets: Skrill, Neteller and paysafecard
Skrill and Neteller are the fastest way to get paid. Both settle in hours rather than days, both carry a €10,000 per-transaction ceiling, and both sidestep the bank entirely on the way back. The trade-off is a second account to verify and a second set of terms to read — Skrill in particular applies its own charge if you later move the balance to a bank account, and that fee has nothing to do with the casino.
paysafecard sits at the other end. You buy a voucher for cash in a shop, type the sixteen digits in, and the deposit lands. It is genuinely useful for keeping a hard ceiling on spending, and it is the one method that never touches your bank statement. It cannot receive a withdrawal, so anything you win has to leave by a different route — in practice that means adding a debit card or bank account before your first payout.
Bonus eligibility is worth a glance before you pick. Some welcome offers exclude e-wallet deposits, and the terms on the bonus page spell out which ones.
SEPA bank transfer
Bank transfer is the slowest method on the list and the only one with a higher minimum, but it is also the only one that comfortably handles five-figure sums. Boo Casino issues an IBAN and a reference code; you push the payment from your own banking app, the reference matches it to your account, and the balance updates when the funds arrive.
Most Irish banks now support SEPA Instant, which moves euro between accounts in seconds rather than days. Whether a given transfer uses it depends on both banks supporting it for that payment type, so plan for one to two working days and treat anything faster as a bonus. Payments sent after about 4pm on a Friday will generally not move until Monday.

Why your credit card will not work
This is the single most common support ticket, so it is worth being blunt about it. The Gambling Regulation Act 2024 prohibits gambling operators from accepting credit card payments from people in Ireland. It is not a Boo Casino policy, it is not negotiable, and no amount of retrying will get it through.
There is a second layer underneath it. Irish card issuers treat gambling merchants under a specific merchant category code, and most of them either block the transaction outright on a credit card or process it as a cash advance — which carries a fee and starts charging interest from day one, with no interest-free period. Even where a transaction slips through, it is an expensive way to fund an account.
What works instead: a debit card, a Revolut card, an e-wallet funded from a current account, or a SEPA transfer. If you are not sure whether the card in your wallet is debit or credit, look for the word Debit printed on the front, or check the account it is attached to in your banking app. The regulator's own material on the Act is published at grai.ie.
Deposit declined? Work through this list
1. Is it actually a debit card?
Roughly half of all declines are a credit card being used by mistake. Check the front of the card.
2. Is a gambling block switched on?
Revolut, N26, AIB and Bank of Ireland all offer one in-app. Turning it off usually triggers a 48-hour cooling-off period before cards work again.
3. Does the name match?
The cardholder name has to match the registered account holder exactly. Third-party payments are rejected on anti-money-laundering grounds, not as a formality.
4. Have you hit a limit you set yourself?
Deposit limits set in the account cannot be lifted instantly — an increase takes effect after a delay, a decrease takes effect straight away.
5. Is the card stored and expired?
A saved card past its expiry date fails without a useful message. Delete it and add the new one rather than retrying.
How it looks on your statement
Deposits appear under the operator's registered merchant name rather than the casino brand, followed by a reference number. That is standard for licensed operators and it is what you will need to quote if you ever query a transaction with your bank.
| Where you look | What you see |
|---|---|
| Card statement | Merchant descriptor + reference, dated the day of the deposit |
| Revolut feed | Card payments, with a push notification within seconds |
| SEPA transfer | Your own reference code, plus the receiving IBAN |
| Withdrawal to card | A refund line against the original merchant, not a fresh credit |
Payment questions
What is the minimum deposit at Boo Casino?
EUR 10 on every method except SEPA bank transfer, where most Irish banks will not send anything under EUR 20 anyway. The minimum withdrawal is EUR 20.
Can I use a credit card at Boo Casino from Ireland?
No. The Gambling Regulation Act 2024 stopped gambling operators taking credit card payments from players in Ireland, in force since 5 February 2026, and the Irish banks decline the transaction at their end too. Use a debit card, Revolut or an e-wallet funded from a current account instead.
Does Boo Casino charge fees on deposits or withdrawals?
The casino itself does not add a fee to any method. Fees you might still see come from third parties: currency conversion if your account is not in euro, and the small charge some banks apply to non-euro SEPA payments.
Why was my deposit declined?
The three common causes are a credit card rather than a debit card, a bank-level gambling block switched on in your banking app, or a card that is not in your own name. Boo Casino only accepts payments from an account that matches the registered account holder.
How does a Boo Casino deposit appear on my bank statement?
As a card purchase from the operator entity rather than the word casino. Expect a Malta-registered merchant descriptor with a reference number. Revolut shows it under Card payments with the same descriptor and an instant push notification.
Can I deposit with one method and withdraw to another?
Only within limits. Closed-loop rules mean money goes back the way it came, up to the amount you deposited. Anything above that can be paid to a verified bank account in your name.

€10 minimum, no casino fees, and instant on everything but bank transfer.
